Recovery is possible.

Recovery Dharma is a journey. A path, a way of living, a set of principles, and a global movement, that aims to help people get past the pain and suffering of addiction and craving, and live a life that is in balance. Inspired by Buddhist principles, RD offers all people, regardless of their type of addiction, an alternative to AA and other programs.

I used to believe I was worthless. I used to use drugs and alcohol to escape, to forget the pain of the trauma from my past, to forget the people I hurt. Now, thanks to the mindfulness and wise understanding I’ve learned in Recovery Dharma, I can have feelings come up, but not let them take over.

Our Sangha, or group of wise friends, has meetings weekly around Arizona. Whether you are recovering from an addiction to drugs or alcohol, gambling, tobacco, food, self-harm, sex, porn, technology – we welcome you.

I used to soothe myself through binge-watching Netflix, scrolling on my phone, and eating a whole tub of ice cream. Now I realize everything is a choice. I can experience the cravings, notice them, and remind myself they will pass. And they do.

Free yourself from the suffering of addiction

Recovery Dharma uses a simple set of Buddhist principles and practices to help you reframe and retrain your behaviors to end the pain and suffering from addictions of all kinds.

Everyone is welcome

Recovery Dharma meetings in Arizona take place every day, either online or in-person. We invite you to participate and become part of our Sangha. Our goal is to create a safe space where we can share, learn from others, and find a path to move past the frustration of suffering, which is simply defined as wanting things to be different than they are.
